Thais lima. [underlined] [carnivorous snail] Saturna Isl. [Island] Aug [August] 4/60 [1960] Found a small group of this species 12-20 of them in a sheltered depression near high tide mark during the low tide period. Associated with Acmaea digitalis [underlined] + A. persona [underlined] [Acmaea persona]. These animals were actively moving + several of them were feeding on the acorn barnacles. They cling to the summit of the barnacle with the proboscis thrust deep inside the animal between the two plates. This thais [underlined] has a distinctly bristly epidermis on the shell.
