Grizzly bear paw (1946)
Paw of an adult male grizzly bear which measured: total length 73 inches; tail 6 3/4 inches; hind foot 10 inches; and weight 450 pounds. The grizzly bear, less commonly known as the silvertip bear, is a large subspecies of brown bear inhabiting North America. (Family: ursidae; binomial name: ursus arctos)
