• Oct 28 Friday Dictionary with Alan: Laura feeling very on edge as to noise and interruptions. Having difficulty with her Aristotle story. To Montauban: another puncture, got shoes mended. Curing my perpetual toothache with calendula. Everyone has colds. The Hippocamp statue monument is falling to pieces. Have had triangular contests at Cambeluk with: Alan David & me. In each of 3 cases Alan beat me; I, David; David, Alan.
