- Nov 6 Saturday Very cold, very damp: we are now sending change of address notifications. Went over yesterday's stuff & wrote 18 more pages, finishing chapter XVIII at 1 o clock in the morning. El frio consigue: hemos hecho las cuentas y toman mal que tienen de pagar tanto: aunque hemos dado tanto, libre, a ellos. Alan & Beryl came. Alan, Alix Harry & I played an 'American' marble tournament which I won surprisingly by 6 moves to Harry's 2, Alan's 1, Alix's 0, A Mr. Neale died at Islip.
