- Wednesday Oct 7 Laura to Bond St. with Karl. I worked on Schools . Have lost a lot of weight. Jenny to lunch & behaved very sweetly. Thinks she'll have a job with Jack Jackson in a B.B.C turn, fortnights. Worked on Schools in L's bedroom while Laura worked with Robin Hale; conflict on values, R.H. upholding sex as necessary and delightful. Had never come across L's point of view before. Wanted fame. Jealous of her 'cold' twin. Knew every Pole in London. Talk with L about Troy situation at Constables: not sufficient enthusiasm. Letter from Deyá; indicating that one can communicate via Barcelona Consulate & Short. Boil healing.
