  • July 27 Wed To Montauban with Dorothy: wheeling punctured bicycle. Just as we got back the other tire blew out. In the evening there were bees in a log in the fire & Dorothy's foot got stung. Laura: Aristotle and letters Figs stewed in butter, then wine. Rain: fires in evening. Laura went over some poems with me. I take charge of lamps.
