Part of a collection of correspondence to Herbert Read from English writer H. G. Wells. Wells is most well known for his science fiction novels, but he also wrote biographies, history, social and political commentaries, and satire. In this letter, Wells explains a situation between him and Henry James, then responds for Read's comments on the "Rights of Man".
