Codex Pollick (Book of Hours)

In Latin, illuminated manuscript on parchment. Possible attribution of historiated initials and borders to the Florentine illuminator Mariano del Buono di Jacopo or his school. Manuscript locally named Codex Pollick. Its diminutive size and the feminine use for its prayers suggest that the first owner was a devout woman, perhaps a lay member of a religious community in Florence (from bookseller's description).
