A letter from British novelist Virginia Woolf to Sir Herbert Read. In addition to being one of the most important early 20th century modernist writers, Woolf was also part of the literary group the Bloomsbury Group, and founded and ran the Hogarth Press with her husband Leonard Woolf. In this note, Woolf invites Read for dinner at Tavistock Square on Friday the 11th.
