- Wed 30th O.K repl Philip came, but could not identify Lawrence sketch. The inscription at the back is by an ignorant Arabist, probably English & is meant to be T.E.Lawrence, Arabia. He said he would press Foreign Office for Internationalizing of Balearics. Lunch with Mother & John G at Victoria station – John on way to Austria. She bought me a pocket comb. With Laura to Belleville J. very nice. James & Mary. Maisie to supper. I took Maisie to a dancing film (Astaire & Rogers) while Laura dictated to Karl.
