- Feb 25 Shrove Tuesday Coldish day (but no brassero brasero needed) Sent T.E. letter to Kennington. Sorted saleable T.E. material. Dictated messy letter of Laura's to Karl for T. Lit.Supp. Sebastian changed violets to bed outside my window. Letter to L.H. about Chambers typing overcharge; about sending letters about T.E. to Arnie, & about additional T.E. letter to letter-material. Blue grape-hyacinth out. Sent off T.E. material to Watt – registered, uninsured. With inventory. Also letter in separate cover about reserve price, copyright reserved etc. Baile : had champagne & ensaimada & ices at the Fabrica. Wild peony in flower.
