- Sat May 9th. Rosa came: given shirts to make for me of the Bonet old linen lengths. Worked on Chapter XII, breaking it up into three chapters. Still slight headache. Heavy weather, with rain & thunder. Slight walk with Solomon by Son Bujosa hill. Signed income tax claim, sending off Barker contracts with it, as Ribbons & Winder asked. With Karl to Posada, where hung up picture & did small jobs, glueing etc. Syringa flowering there. Miguel came to-day to screen the kitchen remaining windows of Can Torrent & Canellun. Sticking in inserts in the three new chapters, as Karl types. Fountain pen back: perfectly good.
