Project material consists of two large folders of architectural drawings and other material pertaining to a series of additions and alterations to the residence of Ailsa and Roger Bishop, located at 4651 Vantreight Drive in Saanich, B.C. Roger Bishop, Professor Emeritus was the former Head of the Department of English at the University of Victoria. Some drawings make reference to a “Mrs. Stubbs”. Based on information found in city directories from the early 1950s, this has been confirmed to be the previous owner of the residence. The original architect of the residence has not been identified. Included are floor plans; site plans; elevations; section drawings; detail drawings; electrical plans; perspective drawings; landscaping plans; sketches; notes; and other material produced at various stages of the design process.
