• June 21 Monday * Operation by Prof. Pannett. Roz talked to me while I was having my intra-venous Twilight Sleep injection: spoilt effect by controversial topics. In the afternoon Laura came, & then Nancy. Not much pain: opium draughts every four hours to constipate. Only fluids now for four days: tea, lemonade etc. Eyes out of focus Temperature subnormal Slept well
