Letter from J. R. Ackerley to John Betjeman, July 25, 1940
PublicPart of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from Joe Randolph "J. R." Ackerley (writer and literary editor of the BBC's weekly magazine The Listener, and open homosexual). Ackerley tells Betjeman that if he thinks that the T. F. Reddaway's book "The rebuilding of London after the Great Fire", is too boring to review, then he should not do it. He asks Betjeman to return the book as others might find it interesting.
