- Dec 10th Tuesday. Very cold. Thunder. The first snow on hills. Some sleet. Went over Focus proofs: found more errors. It went off with Juan . The gas lasted over two months. New bottle broached. Went into Blake poems — Laura James & I — discussing which failed as poems. To Moorish castle with James, got a bit wet. Letter from Liddell Hart about Watt being able to get 25 – 30% & £2000 advance from Hutchinson. Threatened visit of Hodge & Sayers, of Programme .
