A series of documentary kinescopes with filmed inserts dealing with the sea and sea life. Hosted by Ian McTaggart-Cowan. Dr. Cowan introduced the physical characteristics of a variety of shell-bearing molluscs in the sea, including sea snails (gastropoda), mussels (bivalvia), squids (cephalopoda), and elephant tusks (Scaphopoda). He described their movement and life in the sea and also mentioned two special shellfishes: flying sea snails and octopus.
