Letter from Sir William Orpen to Lady Beatrice Glenavy (Or-27/Or-28)
One of a collection of 36 letters all illustrated with ink or pencil sketches. Most are addressed to "Bridgit" from "Dijit". Orpen writes Beatrice he will be passing through on April 14 at 5:30pm and that she should try to stop the train to get on. He also inquires after Beatrice's fiance. Orpen talks to Beatrice about the nights he's been having with Suffragettes. His drawing depicts a man running headfirst into a line of Suffragettes.
