Soldier's Service and Pay book belonging to Victor E. Wong. It was issued in September 1944. Holds a record of payment received for services including overseas payment as well as his medical shots. "K7726 Wong, V.E." was written on the cover. During the war, Canadian Other Ranks were issued a two part Soldier's Service and Pay Book, Militia Book M 1. Part I, the Soldier's Service Book, recorded personal details, i.e. next of kin, training and courses taken, medical and dental history and a will. Part II, the Pay Book, recorded rates of pay, payments received and deductions or stoppages. Scanned item for Victor E. Wong/Chinese Veteran's collection. Derivative made April 13, 2012.
