- Sept 10 Friday. Went over typed chapter 7 and 8, now completed, of Belisarius . Chill: went to bed in afternoon. Listened to Laura's Recommendations which she has worked on all day: for dealing with misbehaving countries. 66 seems ended by Karl's thing with Marie. Walk to Cranleigh & back: brought back fish & writing paper. Green wood-pecker & magpies & cows with calves, (suspicious) rabbits, pheasants. Cold weather: though sunny.
