• June 25 Friday. Gripes all day due to an orange drink, I think, that wasn't quite right. Laura came, with News that Philip is marrying Kitty, anyhow; so naturally sent hearty congratulations. Jenny paid back the £1. Karl brought the drawings he had done for the Ward's Swiss story of the Bells. Enema at night & pains until 12 o clock. Allowed a scrambled egg on toast.
