Civilian internee's armband assigned to Peggy Pemberton Carter

A red cotton armband numbered B2268 which was used by Peggy Pemberton Carter. 'BRA British Residents Association of China' is stamped inside the armband indicating that it was issued by BRA on behalf of the Japanese, during World War Two. Peggy's initials "P. P-C" are handwritten inside the armband.
