Letter from Ford Madox Ford to Herbert Read, September 02, 1919
PublicPart of a collection of friendly correspondence between Sir Herbert Read and novelist, literary critic, and editor, Ford Madox Ford. In this letter Ford provides reasons for his not having written, and invites Read to visit him for a weekend. Ford also announces his decision to change his last name to "Ford" in order to please a relative. In closing, Ford asks Read to keep the news of his letter confidential.
