- Feb 28th, Sunday. It rained all day, then snowed. Claudius , Schools with Laura. Lunch at the hotel. Year of Damage . Cafe with Str & Schw. Str is going to Germany tomorrow to help her sister move flat. Nickel Schw. turned up. To the cinema after supper with Karl. Old fashioned bad sentimental film about a professor and the illegitimate child of the janitor's daughter – by Pirandello. But nice walking back, the snow having cleared. Tried to but could not read Michael Sadleir's These Foolish Things .
