• Jan 24 Sunday Rained all day. Alan's letter did not appear. All morning working on Jealous Man , Marble Table & Exile . In afternoon went over Epilogue poems with Laura. Claudius film version Ward & Dorothy to tea, stayed until 11. Also Wilfred & Nan, & Maisie. General talk, nothing said especially.
