- July 8 Friday Friday. We went out with Juan & Anita to the Château and confirmed our decision to rent it. Juan excited about the shooting. The general impression was again very favourable. Walk in the sun round the pond. Settled the Judais affair: paying him 1500 francs and taking the saucepans he had bought. A drunken taxi-man. Long talk with Anita at the café opposite. Our bigger luggage arrived at Rennes. It has rained somewhat every day since we came
