Kwan Yu (Kwan Kung)
PublicPhoto of a statue of Kwan Kung(Guan Gong, 關公, 关公)at the front of the shrine in Palace of the Saints. Kwan Kung, also called Guan Yu(關羽, 关羽)was the greatest general of the Three Kingdoms. Because of his loyalty to his country and his integrity as an individual, he is worshiped by many Chinese people today, especially in southern China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong and their descendants overseas.
