Part of a collection of correspondence and art by Eric Gill. Gill was a renowned early 20th century English printmaker, typeface designer, and sculptor who also wrote extensively on social and religious topics. This signed pencil sketch depicts a mother and child framed by Latin script. Signed pencil drawing of a "Mother and Child" (used as a Christmas card for the Peace Pledge Union).
