His Ship HMSC Protecteur had huge weapon systems change, from Anti Submarine Weapons to Anti Surface Weapons. When crossing the Atlantic Sea, there were tests done with HMCS Fraser, and then when in the Mediterranean Sea with The French Air Force, both of these times where exercise which tested the new systems on board. After, went into the Suez Cannel and stopping at Djibouti and then heads to Bahrain where encounter problems with docking at the dockyard. Switches' to another port for the ship to get the services needed. The mission in central gulf start has HMCS Protecteur conducting boarding's and supplying ships with fuel and equipment. This is seen by other ships as a huge advantage to have a supply ship and a ship that will boarder other ships. In January the crew from HMCS Oasis takes the place of the crew on HMCS Protecteur but keeps the same ship, a month later the Cease Fire was signed and HMCS Protecteur ship came back to Halifax and the crew came back on.
