Shows antique oil painting of Lee Tin Suk, a founder of Lee Association which is one of the oldest family associations in Victoria. The Lees claimed Lao-tse (Laozi, 老子) as their grand ancestor. There are Lees all over China, the first Lees came to Victoria in the 1850s from the Pearl River delta in Guangdong Province. By 1880 the Lee Association was well established, looking out for the welfare of its members. The Lee Association building is located on 614 Fisgard Street, Victoria, B.C.
