• Aug 30 Tuesday Proofs all day of World & Ourselves ; lying in bed. Occasional bouts of darts. In the evening eyes too tired to go on but L, Alan & I had a Dictionary conference. Did Did Laura's nose-irrigation again for first time for a long time. Much better. Franco Ebro counter-offensive has died down; and his Estramadura offensive been countered with a Government counter-offensive.
