Part of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from William Plomer (British poet, novelist and literary editor). Plomer is glad that Betjeman will write something about his collected poems. Plomer writes that he will give an address at the memorial service for Jonathan Cape (his publisher) at St. Martin-in-the-Fields. He is very happy that Betjeman received the CBE (Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
