  • Oct. 23 Dear Directors of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association in Victoria, Thanks for the relief funds US$291 raised for Cuban Chinese. You sent it to the Chinese Embassy in Washington, we received it by advice of His Honor, the Consul General Li. We hereby express our great gratitude to all the Chinese contributors for their kindness to care about the fellow Chinese in Cuba. Please forward our thanks and best regards to them all.
