• Monday May 4 Feeling better. Hot weather. Transplanted seedling lupins to pots in patio, removing tulips. Bathed. Very hot and windless by the sea. Sirocco at Canellun. Seedling Canpabo roses blooming & the garden poppies. Going through Ant . Karl typing the last two chapters. News of apparent end of Abyssinian War. More excellent O.S.S. notices.
