Part of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from William Plomer (British poet, novelist and literary editor). Plomer is disappointed that Betjeman won't be able to attend the luncheon but is hopeful for another year. He tells Betjeman that he will be president of the Poetry Society for 3 years, until autumn 1971. Front of postcard shows Lumley Road in Skegness, Lincolnshire.
