Frank M. Shillaker field notes (1943) : notes from Chezacut, B.C.

This field journal recorded bird census over summer by day in 1943. Note on cover reads: observation with 2 miles of lot 1315 Coast Range 3 Chezacut B.C., F. M. Shillaker. Frank M. Shillaker was a colleague up in Chezacut who owned the local store and bought from the trappers. He was an naturalist too and provided some of the early European accounts of wildlife there. He gave his journals to Dr. Cowan.
