Marionette - No. 25

The Marionette is a prison newsletter made by prisoners for prisoners and the general public to spread awareness of the conditions prisons and in Marion Penitentiary, Illinois in particular. Later joined with Prison News Service (PNS) focused on political trials, repressive abuses of imprisonment and the resistance to such oppression.

Edited by Bill Dunne. Article topics include: Harassment by trial, Admission of wrongdoing, Slave labor west, Marionnotes. PSN No. 2 May 1987, article topics include: Guilty until proven innocent, Community contagion [sic], Bumped off.
