Yellow bowl-shaped flowers in fairly open clusters with five heart-shaped petals. Potentilla villosa is native to northwestern North America and common names include villous cinquefoil, northern cinquefoil, and hairy cinquefoil. (Family: rosaceae; binomial name: potentilla villosa).
