Letter from J. R. Ackerley to John Betjeman, August 10, 1965
Part of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from Joe Randolph "J. R." Ackerley (writer and literary editor of the BBC's weekly magazine The Listener, and open homosexual). Ackerley tells Betjeman that he was happy to see him. He mentions that Betjeman might not want to give Forster's remarks about John Osborne's play. Although he enjoyed it, there were a few parts which he did not like.
