Fur & feather 23 (1955-11-14) : haymakers of the mountains

Science information program for children on animals and birds. Co-hosted by Ian McTaggart-Cowan, Head of UBC Zoology Department and 14 year-old David Maxwell. Dr. Cowan used pikas (rock rabbit) as an example to introduce the home of haymakers which collect dry plants for winter in the high mountain regions. He also showed the nest of a pack rat.
