Living sea 25 (1958-03-02) : Arctic seas
PublicA series of documentary kinescopes with filmed inserts dealing with the sea and sea life. Hosted by Ian McTaggart-Cowan. Dr. Cowan introduced the Arctic Regions and a variety of animals living there, including ocean mammals such as seal and sea lion, land mammals such as polar bear, arctic fox and muskox, and birds such as northern fulmar and snow goose. He described their physical characteristics and explained how they survive in the harsh conditions in the Arctic regions.
