Contains articles and other writings about the history and use of subversive and anti-authoritarian flyers and posters along with many different examples. Flyers and posters expressing criticism, negative social commentary or dissent have long been a form of expression and protest. Sometimes such flyers and posters expressed a changing social or philosophical ethos. Sometimes such flyers and posters were issued as propaganda or in support of a revolutionary movement.
