In 1978, the CCBA re-wrote its official purposes to reflect the changing status of Chinese citizens in Canadian society. Signed by the president of the association on 5 November 1978. Stamped "Received Aug. 24 1979" by the Registrar of Companies. Stamped "Filed and Registered Feb. 14/80" by M. A. Jorre de St. Jorre, Registrar of Companies.
