- Sunday May 17th Checked Chapter IX of Honor's after Laura had gone over it. Wrote two inserts for Ant made necessary by Fuller's comments (Fake policemen: & Jane's recovering her note from Oliver ) etc) Raining again, off & on, all day. Red Hibiscus flowering. Also small cactus flowering, hollyhock, afric French marigolds. Anemones dying down. Read first forty pp or so of K. Burdekin's book.
