Ian McTaggart-Cowan field notes (1944) : birds observed in Jasper Park

This field journal is a bird census over summer by day in 1944. Frank M. Shillaker was a colleague up in Chezacut who owned the local store and bought from the trappers. He was an excellent naturalist too and provided some of the early European accounts of wildlife there. He left his journals to Cowan.
