Letter from Ford Madox Ford to Herbert Read, June 11, 1920
PublicPart of a collection of friendly correspondence between Sir Herbert Read and novelist, literary critic, and editor, Ford Madox Ford. In the first paragraphs of this letter Ford, in apparent response to the tone of Read's previous letter, pretends not to know who Read is. Ford then gives news of his small homestead, claims he is tired of talking about books, and invites Read to visit for a weekend.
