• Sept 30 Thursday. Better health day. Laura at work again on Letter Book . Lovely weather and talk most of morning on whether to go to France or stay in England: decision to withold decision for a month. 19 pages Belisarius Chapter XII Walk from Cranleigh: have reduced my weight a lot. Triangular marble contests, new style, between Alix, Harry & myself. Laura wearing her best red & green brocaded skirt & I my new brown corduroys.
