Show Douglas Jung wore badges. Douglas Jung (鄭天華, 1924-2002), a World War II Veteran, was born in Victoria, B.C. on February 24, 1924. He was a lawyer and the first Canadian of Chinese origin elected to the House of Commons. He was also appointed by Prime Minister John Diefenbaker as a Canadian representative to the United Nations as Chair of the Canadian Legal Delegation. His profusion of honours included the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia, the highest honours a citizen can receive from the federal and provincial governments respectively.
