Transcript

• Ap 25 Tuesday Met 2 Spaniards – & had drinks. One Portela prefect of a province, Noguera the other ex-manager of the Tobacco Control. Expect to be back in Spain before long. Blame Government defeat on Communist insistence of only buying arms from Russia. Visited engine-room – unfortunately some of the party were interested in machinery so had to spend ¼ hour there.
