Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin was a well-known Russian revolutionary and theorist of collectivist anarchism. He has also often been called the father of anarchist theory in general. This booklet contains a translation of a letter showing that, "through revolution ..., Bakunin aimed to make it possible for a liberated humanity to achieve that splendor in life which only the rich and powerful now possess."
